Our Spices
Grumpy Gator uses only the freshest ingredients in our spices. We don't purchase our ingredients from the local grocery store, where spices have sat on the shelves for weeks or months. We purchase our spices from online merchants like Penzeys, or Penderys. If you are looking for individual spice ingredients, you can't go wrong with either of these companies.
Shipping
Lots of online stores hide their shipping infomation until you get to the checkout, but we're gonna get this out of the way right now. The Grumpy Gator handles shipping charges differently than your typical online store. We don't want to profit from shipping charges. Sometimes shipping for small items costs more than the item itself. So here's what we do:
All our shipping is done exclusively through the USPS, either First Class Mail or Priority Mail. Nope, you're not going to get it tomorrow. If you need it tomorrow, order it last week. Now... if you absolutely need your spices tomorrow, shoot the Gator an e-Mail, and we'll do our best to accomodate you.
If you order a single bottle of Grumpy Gator spice or Grumpy Gator Hot Sauce, the shipping method will be First Class Mail and the cost for shipping will be $2.50.
If you order a Grumpy Gator Value Pack of either 4 or 8 bottles of Grumpy Gator spice or Grumpy Gator Hot Sauce, the shipping method will be Priority Mail and the cost for shipping will be $8.95. Grumpy Gator Value Packs can be all one type of spice or hot sauce or you can mix and match. The Gator might be Grumpy but he's always thinking of his customers. Feel free to combine orders with your friends and family.
The Gator's Guarantee
If you're not happy with anything you order from the Grumpy Gator, simply return the unused portion of your order and we will refund your purchase price, less any shipping charges. We only ask that you tell us what you didn't like, so we can address the problem.
